Search Tips
- Try
the obvious first.
- Put
quotation marks around keywords if you want to search for them literally.
For instance, if you type the following query "epoxy injection".
The Search will literally look for the complete phrase epoxy injection.
But if you type the same query without the quotation marks: epoxy injection,
it searches all documents for the words epoxy and injection.
- Enter
the first four to six letters followed by an asterisk (*), such as hydro*
for the terms "hydrodemolition" or "hydroelectric".
Placing the truncation symbol, the asterisk (*), at the end of a word
returns any words that begin with the letters you enter.
Content Categories
The type of search depends on the content of the index. To narrow search results, choose one of the following categories:
- Video Files - returns results that contain entire video files
- Video Clips - returns results that contain video files that are segmented into shorter time fragments called clips
- PDF Files - returns results that contain Adobe PDF files
- HTML Files - returns results that contain HTML files
- All Files - returns results that contain all assets
